Ed graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelors Degree in Physical Education in 1991. He completed his Exercise Physiologist designation in 1992 and has been building health focused exercise programs ever since.
Ed spent 14 rewarding years at the Medicine Hat Family YMCA. In 2007, Ed left the YMCA to start his own training business: Peak Performance Fitness Services. Working predominantly out of the Medicine Hat College, Ed is the strength & conditioning coach for the Alberta Sport Development Centre (ASDC) training young emerging athletes as well as the MHC Rattlers Athletic teams.
Instructing Functional Anatomy Labs and Strength Training classes is something Ed enjoys. Educating and training clients of all ages and abilities is also his passion. Over the summer months, Ed’s primary focus switches to training off-season hockey players.
Ed resides in Medicine Hat with his way-better half Debbie and their two sons Jake & Kolby.
